He received his law degree from Yale Law School, where he was a member of the Housing Clinic and an editor of the <em>Yale Law Journal<\/em>. During law school, he interned with the Civil Rights Division of the U.S. Department of Justice and the ACLU of Georgia. He received his undergraduate degree from Harvard University.
