She received her B.A. from the University of North Texas with a degree in Economics. During her time as an undergraduate, she conducted water quality research and capacity building for a non-profit based in southeastern Nigeria focused on improving health outcomes.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to non-profit work, she has previously worked for a law firm in Dallas, Texas focused on small business tax advising and received her Enrolled Agent certification.
