Before starting law school, he worked at the International Monetary Fund (IMF).<\/p>\n<p>As a research analyst in the IMF\u2019s Fiscal Affairs Department, Jay worked and published on evolving <a href=\"https:\/\/www.imf.org\/en\/Publications\/WP\/Issues\/2019\/10\/11\/Job-Polarization-and-the-Declining-Fortunes-of-the-Young-Evidence-from-the-United-Kingdom-48644\">labor issues<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.imf.org\/en\/Publications\/WP\/Issues\/2019\/12\/27\/Political-Costs-of-Tax-Based-Consolidations-48841\">tax policies<\/a>, and the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.imf.org\/en\/Publications\/FM\/Issues\/2020\/09\/30\/october-2020-fiscal-monitor#Chapter%201\">environmental impact of Covid-19 fiscal stimulus programs<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Jay is interested in fiscal policy, both international and domestic, the law, and public service. He would like to work on the range of topics in this realm, including budget, labor, taxation, and anti-poverty programs.
