His research interests lie at the nexus of economics, law and international affairs, with a particular focus on the economics of market regulation, comparative competition policy and antitrust. Arian\u2019s professional experience ranges from working as a financial services specialist at Momentum Financial Services Group to interning at the Ministry of Jobs, Economic Recovery and Innovation in British Columbia, Canada. His research on the role of governments in market competition and sustainable economic growth has appeared in reports commissioned by municipal, provincial and federal policymakers in Canada.<\/p>\n<p>Before joining the Georgetown Law community, Arian completed his Master\u2019s degree at the University of Chicago, specializing in International Political Economy and International Security. During his time at UChicago, he also received a certificate in Markets and Regulation from the Harris School of Public Policy.
