Mateo is also pursuing the Graduate Certificate in Global Human Development at the Edmund A. Walsh School of Foreign Service.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">He graduated with both a LLB and a BA in Political Science &amp; Public Administration from <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Universidad Aut\u00f3noma de Madrid<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">. During his undergraduate studies, he participated in academic stays at <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Florida International University<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">, <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Pontif\u00edcia Universidad Cat\u00f3lica do Rio de Janeiro<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">, and at the <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">University of Cambridge<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">. He also holds a BSc in International Economics &amp; Management from <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Universit\u00e9 Paris-Est Cr\u00e9teil<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">, two LLMs -one in Legal Practice and another in TMT Law &amp; Data Protection- from <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Universidad Carlos III de Madrid<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">, and an MA in Human Rights, Democracy and Globalisation from <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Universitat Oberta de Catalunya.<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Prior to Georgetown Law, Mateo worked as an Associate at the IP\/TMT practice at Cuatrecasas, both in Spain and Portugal.
