In addition to a Bachelor of Laws degree from Lancaster University (<\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">First Class<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">), he holds two master\u2019s degrees from the University of Michigan, one in law and the other in international and African studies. At Georgetown, Alfred is the co-founder and President of the Georgetown African Law Society. He is also part of Law Cappella, a singing group that organizes a campus concert every semester.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Born in the oil producing Niger-Delta region of Nigeria, Alfred has a deep passion for the renewable energy sector in Africa. He is also interested in sovereign debt, equitable trade and environmental law. As a scholar, Alfred is interested in the legal, political, and economic questions that emerge from the ways young Africans use and present themselves on the internet. His master\u2019s thesis highlighted and addressed some of these questions, particularly in the context of nationalism.
