He is an International Business and Economic Law student, with an emphasis in Securities &amp; Financial Law. He studied at Universidad de los Andes in Bogota, Colombia. His first bachelor\u2019s degree was in Political Science, with an emphasis in Political theory and International Relations. His second bachelor\u2019s degree is in law, where he specialized in Corporate Law and Human Rights. Carlos wrote a law degree thesis in relation to the nascent regime of human Rights and Corporate Governance and how it is being applied in the Colombian regime.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Before attending Georgetown University, Carlos worked as an investigative attorney for the Attorney\u2019s General Office in Bogota, Colombia. His work specialized in assuring a legal framework for the protection of human rights of victims in the phenomena of the transitional Justice Process held in Colombia.
