At the Georgetown Immigration Law Journal (GILJ), we are deeply committed to grounding our publication, legal training, and community values in diversity and justice.
In Fall 2021, GILJ launched #ImmigrationAND, a justice-oriented program exploring interdisciplinary issues within immigration in order to convene intersectional imagination and pursue collective liberation.
Founded & created by Prashasti Bhatnagar (GILJ Editor-in-Chief, Volume 36), the #ImmigrationAND program has two components:
- Interactive Syllabus, comprising readings, space for reflection, and action items on interdisciplinary topics within immigration.
- Scholar Series, highlighting community leaders, activists, lawyers, and professors who practice and apply a justice approach in their work.
The full program can be accessed on our website here. The program is open to anyone and everyone.
