Research Help From Our Web Site

We offer research assistance, using chat software to connect you to one of our librarians -- no matter where you are.


This service is available only to Georgetown students, faculty, and staff, who need help with legal research.


The service is available whenever the Reference Desk is open.


When the chat service is open, simply the click here or click the green button at the top of the page.

You will be connected to one of our librarians who will help you with whatever research question you have.  We may recommend that you come into the Library in person, or schedule a research consultation, but we'll do our best to help you remotely.
