Digital Collections
The Georgetown Law Library's Digital Initiatives department develops, implements, maintains, and advances digital collections and projects. Its primary objective is digitizing and providing access to library materials.
Digital Georgetown
Many of the library’s digital collections can be found at Digital Georgetown, including 2nd Circuit and DC Circuit federal appeals court records and briefs, Georgetown law journals, and DC historic preservation law.
Legal Information Archive
The Legal Information Archive (formerly known as the Chesapeake Digital Preservation collection) contains born-digital legal materials collected by multiple institutions. The Georgetown Law Library contribution includes secondary legal resources including reports from commissions, task forces, agencies, scholarly societies, and lobbying groups.
Internet Archive
The library’s public domain and copyright-cleared digital materials at the Internet Archive allow for widespread use and interaction with the internet at large, including embeddable book viewers and a variety of derivative file formats.
