Until further notice, we are not taking new applications for the Public Patron Program. Please stay tuned for updates. We hope to continue this program when we resume regular business operations.

Government agencies, law firms, non-profit institutions and organizations, and attorneys may apply for an annual membership in the Public Patron Program, August 1 to July 31 with pro-rated fees after September 1st.  Public Patron members enjoy access to the Library’s on-site collection and may obtain on-site reference assistance.  Members may also use many of the databases available through the Library’s on-site public computers.  However the Library does not provide Public Patrons with Lexis, Westlaw, or Bloomberg Law passwords.  Public Patrons are not eligible for any law center library borrowing privileges.

Membership rates are as follows:

Law Firms, Business or Corporation

  • $1,400 per year
  • Additional access cards for law firms are $200 each.

Non-profit Organizations (other than 501(c)(3))

  • $250 per year
  • Additional access cards for law firms are $50 each.

Non-profit Organizations (501(c)(3))

  • $135 per year
  • Additional access cards for law firms are $50 each.

Law Center Alumni

  • Free
  • Law Center Alumni do not need an access card to access the Law Library.  Law Center Alumni must present government-issued photo identification at the Law Library security desk and will be checked against the alumni list.
