{"id":12,"date":"2017-06-07T09:39:26","date_gmt":"2017-06-07T13:39:26","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.law.georgetown.edu\/library\/home\/services\/"},"modified":"2025-09-03T07:48:32","modified_gmt":"2025-09-03T11:48:32","slug":"services","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.law.georgetown.edu\/library\/services\/","title":{"rendered":"Services"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>In addition to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.law.georgetown.edu\/library\/research-help\">research help<\/a>, the Georgetown Law Library provides many services to help members of the Georgetown Law community study, learn, and work.<\/p>\n<h2>Past Exams<\/h2>\n<p>Current law faculty and students have access to the last five years of <a href=\"https:\/\/exams.ll.georgetown.edu\/\">Past Exams<\/a> that the Law Library has received from the Office of the Registrar.<\/p>\n<h2>Study Space<\/h2>\n<p>Patrons can utilize the Law Library\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.law.georgetown.edu\/library\/services\/noise-zones\/\">Noise Zones<\/a> (Quiet Zones, Collaborative Zones, and Community Zones) to find a study space that meets their needs. Law students can <b>reserve a study room<\/b> on the 3rd, 4th, or 5th floors and <b>study carrels<\/b> on the 4th floor of the Williams Law Library building by using the <a href=\"https:\/\/rooms.ll.georgetown.edu\/\">Study Space Booking System<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h2>Borrowing Materials<\/h2>\n<p>Law Faculty, students, and staff may use the catalog to have books placed on a hold shelf for pickup, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.law.georgetown.edu\/library\/services\/borrowing\/\">borrow books and materials<\/a> from the library, and utilize our <a href=\"https:\/\/www.law.georgetown.edu\/library\/services\/borrowing\/interlibrary-loan\/\">interlibrary loan service<\/a> to obtain materials from other libraries.<\/p>\n<h2>Printing, Copying, &amp; Scanning<\/h2>\n<p>Current law students, faculty, and staff have access to the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.law.georgetown.edu\/library\/services\/printing-copying-scanning\/\">printer\/copier stations managed by Auxiliary Business Services<\/a>. The Law Library also<a href=\"https:\/\/www.law.georgetown.edu\/library\/services\/printing-copying-scanning\/\"> provides self-service scanners<\/a> free of charge for all patrons.<\/p>\n<h2>Computers and Technology<\/h2>\n<p>Throughout the wifi connected building, the Law Library has public computers, monitors that can be connected to a personal laptop, a Computer Learning Center, and AV-equipped study rooms.
