In the last several weeks, three Georgetown University Law Center faculty members have published op-eds in the New York Times

Professor David Super writes about the fiscal cliff: “If we are going to have radical deficit reduction, the fiscal cliff may be the fairest, least harmful way it can be achieved.”
("Bring on the Fiscal Cliff," December 18, 2012)

Professor Louis Michael Seidman, author of the forthcoming book On Constitutional Disobedience, talks about the Constitution: “Our obsession with the Constitution has saddled us with a dysfunctional political system, kept us from debating the merits of divisive issues and inflamed our public discourse.”
("Let's Give Up on the Constitution," December 30, 2012)

Professor David Cole discusses guns and race: “When we celebrate gun rights, we all too often ignore their disproportionate racial burdens. Any effort to address gun violence must focus on the inner city.”
("Who Pays for the Right to Bear Arms?," January 1, 2013)
