Serena Zets is the Communications Associate at the Center, where she uplifts the Center’s critical research. She previously interned in the U.S. Department of Justice’s Civil Rights Division where she assisted in federal investigations of civil rights compliance and enforcement. Serena got their start in communications through community organizing around issues of racial justice, immigrants’ rights, and criminal legal system reform.
