Tessa Giordano
Tessa is a Law Fellow with the Fritz Family Fellowship.
Tessa Giordano is a 2L at Georgetown Law. Born and raised in Charlotte, North Carolina, she earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Musical Theater from the University of Oklahoma. Tessa’s creative and social justice-oriented background has instilled a passion for promoting a technological space that champions rather than overtakes human creativity and autonomy. As a Fritz Family Fellow, Tessa works alongside Faculty Advisor Amanda Levendowski on the AI-Generated Images and Identifiability project, which is devoted to researching legal solutions to ethical issues around Generative AI, including but not limited to considering the application of publicity law as a deterrent to the use of deepfake technology to create and distribute nonconsensual, sensitive imagery.
Beyond this project, Tessa is a Staff Editor on the Georgetown Journal of Legal Ethics, board member of Georgetown’s Gilbert and Sullivan Society (the only theatre group with its own law school!), and avid enjoyer of DC’s vibrant food scene.
