Brill led multi-faceted \u00a0initiatives for policymakers on issues including int<\/span><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino, serif\">ermediary liability, financial services, digital trade, combating misinformation on the Internet, e-commerce, access to information, digital trade, privacy and intellectual property (IP). Brill served as interim Executive Director of the Georgetown Law Institute for Technology Law &amp; Policy and currently teaches Copyright Law and a her novel curriculum on Technology Policy Practice. Previously, Brill was IP Practitioner-in-Residence at Washington College of Law. Brill held leadership roles at eBay and PayPal; was counsel for House Energy &amp; Commerce and Judiciary Committee Congressman Boucher; and was an associate at Covington &amp; Burling working on tech and communications issues. Prior to her legal career, Brill served in a variety of roles at news outlets including Associated Press, CNN, <\/span><i style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino, serif\">Meet the Press<\/i><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino, serif\">, and ABC News. Brill received her B.A.,\u00a0<\/span><i style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino, serif\">magna cum laude<\/i><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino, serif\">, from Harvard University and her J.D.,\u00a0<\/span><i style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino, serif\">magna cum laude<\/i><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino, serif\">, from Georgetown. Brill serves on the Board of Library Futures, Freedom Now, and the Internet Foundry.
