These collaborations are chosen to maximize both learning value and real-world impact. Working closely in teams, students will carry out research shaped by project partners\u2019 needs and guided by the professors.<\/p>\n<p>Each student will build a work-product portfolio that will require the student teams and write clearly:<\/p>\n<div style=\"padding-left: 40px\">\n<p>1. A concise summary of the team\u2019s findings.<br \/>\n2. A history of prior related work.<br \/>\n3. An analysis of the findings\u2019 implications for the partner organization.<br \/>\n4. An analysis of the findings\u2019 implications for the broader field.<br \/>\n5. Enrollment is by instructor approval.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Selection will consider factors such as technology policy expertise, professional experience, technical skills, and passion.
