Meet Amy

Amy is the Assistant Dean of the Office of Career Strategy. She graduated from Washington & Lee University in 1997 and earned her law degree from the University of Richmond in 2000. She went on to clerk for the Honorable Henry Hudson of the Fairfax Circuit Court. After her clerkship, she practiced community association law at Troutman Sanders in McLean. Amy joined the Office of Career Strategy in 2003 and has been advising students ever since. A proud native of Richmond, Virginia, when she’s not working, Amy enjoys watching the Washington Football Team and running. She also enjoys spending time with her family–especially her husband and her sons Thomas and Andrew.
