Before joining the Office of Career Strategy in 2018, Grace spent several years working at a Washington DC powerhouse litigation firm before pivoting to government contracts law. She received her J.D. from University of Michigan Law School and her B.A. from Wayne State University. Grace also worked as an executive at a Washington DC-based crisis communications firm after law school. This position combined her legal training and prior experience as a journalist. Grace spent four years before law school working as a reporter at the Chicago Tribune. Grace also has a certificate in leadership coaching from Georgetown University. She incorporates coaching principles in her support of 2L and 3L students who are committed to securing jobs in the private sector.
Grace lives in Washington DC and enjoys discovering new foods, karaoke parties, and watching Shark Tank with her husband, who happens to be her favorite person!
