The Appellate Advocacy Division holds the Leahy Competition each fall. Leahy is open to all 2L, 2E, and 3E students.\u00a0 The deadline to register for the competition is October 2, 2026 at 11:59 PM.<\/span><\/p>\n

In the meantime, please check out the Barristers\u2019 Council Information Session being held on September 9<\/span>th <\/span>and 5:30pm. The meeting will be held at <\/span>500 1st St NW, in the 9th Floor<\/b><\/a>\u00a0Auditorium.<\/b> You can also access the meeting from this <\/span>Zoom link<\/span><\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n

Competition Timeline<\/b><\/p>\n

Competitors will have access to the 2026 Leahy Case Packet beginning on October 3rd. Written briefs are due on October 12th.<\/span>
