Resident Fellows create a welcoming and safe community for the students living on campus. Using their experience and connections, they help residents make the most of Washington, DC and Georgetown Law. The individual relationships they form with residents help meet students where they are. The group events they organize bring the best parts of Georgetown Law into the residential community. Meet the Resident Fellows for Academic Year 2025-26<\/h2>\n

Hyesun Jang: Floors 2, 4, 5<\/h3>\n

\"HyesunHyesun is a JD\/LLM student at Georgetown Law, currently completing her LLM in Taxation. She is from Seoul, Korea, where she majored in Economics at Yonsei University. Before starting law school, she worked as a market analyst at an agricultural startup. As a JD, Hyesun was a Business Law Scholar and Articles Editor for the American Criminal Law Review and served on the board for the Korean American Law Students Association. She continues to work as a Research Assistant at the Williams Law Library. Hyesun enjoys reading mystery novels and watching films from diverse eras.<\/p>\n

Adam Leicht: Floors 2, 4, 5<\/h3>\n

\"AdamAdam is a 3L at Georgetown Law from Jasper, Georgia. He graduated from Emory University with a degree in Political Science. Before law school, he worked as a paralegal at a personal injury firm in Atlanta and in-house for a New York City wine auction company. At Georgetown, he serves as Vice President of the Society of Catholic Students. In his free time, he enjoys exploring D.C.\u2019s coffee shops and reading about personal finance and investing.<\/p>\n

Shannon Tryon: Floors 6 and 7<\/h3>\n

\"ShannonShannon is a 3L at Georgetown Law from Illinois. She graduated with a Bachelor\u2019s degree in Global Studies from the University of Illinois and earned her Master\u2019s in Global Security from the University of Glasgow. Before law school, she worked in risk and threat analysis. At Georgetown, she is a member of the Georgetown Journal of Gender and the Law and serves as a Transfer Student Mentor. In her free time, she enjoys attending Renaissance fairs, watching movies, and taking her dog Rhea for walks!<\/p>\n

Eliza Jason: Floors 8 and 9<\/h3>\n

\"ElizaEliza is a 3L at Georgetown Law and is from Costa Mesa, California. Eliza graduated from Point Loma Nazarene University with a major in Media Communication and a minor in Writing. After graduating and before law school, she worked in film and television in Los Angeles, first at various studios within The Walt Disney Company and then at a boutique talent representation law firm as a paralegal. At Georgetown, Eliza is a Business Law Scholar, Peer Advisor, and on the Christian Legal Society executive board. Eliza loves playing volleyball, traveling, seeing new movies, and spending time with family and friends in her free time.<\/p>\n

Malaaz Ghandour: Floors 10 and 11<\/h3>\n

\"MalaazMalaaz is a 2L at Georgetown Law and is from Houston, Texas. Malaaz graduated from Harvard University with a concentration in Government. Before starting law school, Malaaz worked on Capitol Hill, worked in Pre-K and kindergarten special education in Houston, and began her Master’s in Public Policy at Harvard Kennedy School as part of a dual degree program with Georgetown Law. At Georgetown, Malaaz is a staff editor on the Georgetown Journal of Gender and the Law. In her free time, Malaaz enjoys visiting art and history museums, watching TV shows, attending concerts, and traveling.<\/p>\n
