Temp Cards are available for use to both Mobile GOCard and Physical cardholders. <\/p>\n
If a GOCard is misplaced and can be recovered at a later time, a Temporary GOCard can be obtained free of charge. The Temp Card will take on the functions of the existing GOCard by transferring the current balances and access rights. A valid government-issued photo ID must be presented to obtain and use the Temporary GOCard. <\/p>\n
A Temporary GOCard is borrowed and active for up to 7 days. The card must be returned<\/strong> within the 7-day period to the IST Service Desk by the close of business. <\/p>\n If a Temp Card is lost or not returned, a $30 replacement fee will be charged to the cardholder Debit$ account. To prevent unauthorized use all lost or stolen Temp Cards should be deactivated immediately by visiting the GOCard Online Card Office and selecting deactivate card. <\/p>\n Note: Some merchants may decline to accept the card. It\u2019s always good to verify beforehand. Only limited quantities of Temporary GOCards are produced for each campus location, therefore, availability is not guaranteed<\/strong>. <\/p>\n Visit or contact the IST Service Desk to obtain or return a Temporary GOCard. <\/p>\n
