The IST Department is not liable for any damage done to your personal computer as a result of the installation.<\/p>\n<p>If your personal computer ceases to operate after loading the software, we will not repair it.<br \/>\nThe Office 365 license that you download is only valid for as long as you are a member of the Georgetown Law community. Once you leave or graduate, the license will no longer function.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>\n<strong>How to Download Office 365<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Browse to <a href=\"http:\/\/login.microsoftonline.com\">login.microsoftonline.com<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li>When the <em>Office 365<\/em> page opens, type <em>[yourNetID]@georgetown.edu<\/em> in the first field.<\/li>\n<li>Do not type anything in the second (password) field.<\/li>\n<li>Click on the <strong>Sign in<\/strong> icon.<\/li>\n<li>You will be redirected to a login page.<\/li>\n<li>Type your NetID in the <strong>Username<\/strong> field, your Georgetown University password in the <strong>Password<\/strong> field, and click on the <strong>OK<\/strong> button.<\/li>\n<li>The <em>Install Office on your PC<\/em> page will open.<\/li>\n<li>Click once on the <strong>Gear<\/strong> icon in the upper, right-hand corner and choose the <strong>Office 365 Settings<\/strong> option.<\/li>\n<li>The <em>Office 365 Settings<\/em> page will open.<\/li>\n<li>Click on the <strong>Software<\/strong> link to download and install the software.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Note:\u00a0 Please be aware that you install Microsoft 365 at your own risk.
