Caroline Springer has over 10 years of experience in LL.M. admissions and advising LL.M. candidates on issues related to job search strategies and career planning. After clerking for a federal judge in Baltimore, Maryland and then working as a Trial Attorney at the U.S. Department of Justice in the Environmental Enforcement Section, Environment and Natural Resources Division for close to eight years, Caroline returned to Georgetown Law first working in the Admissions Office and then moving over to the Office of Graduate Careers. While a J.D. student at Georgetown Law, Caroline was a Law Fellow in the Legal Research and Writing Department, the Managing Editor of the American Criminal Law Review<\/em> and participated in the Domestic Violence Clinic. Kaavya Ramesh built a diverse litigation career spanning both the public and private sectors before joining Georgetown Law. She serves as Associate Director in the Office of Graduate Careers. Kaavya earned her B.B.A., LL.B. from Jindal Global Law School and her J.D. from Cornell Law School. Kaavya began her legal career as an Assistant District Attorney in Philadelphia, where she served on the Special ATV Task Force Team, and prosecuted misdemeanors and felonies at the Municipal Court level. She later practiced in Big Law focusing on antitrust litigation, where she also had the opportunity to provide advice to asylum seekers at the U.S.\u2013Mexico border, and successfully represented an incarcerated individual in mediation of his civil rights claims. Kaavya also spent time at a boutique litigation firm in D.C., focusing on commercial and business litigation matters. In 2024, Kaavya was recognized as one of the honorees of the Pittsburgh Business Times’ 30 Under 30 for her professional accomplishments, leadership and contribution to the community. Kaavya is admitted to practice law in the District of Columbia and Pennsylvania.<\/p>\nRuth Ann Castillo, Assistant Director<\/h2>\n

Ruth Ann Castillo earned her J.D. from Georgetown Law, where she represented tenants in landlord\/tenant disputes through the Harrison Institute for Public Law. After clerking at the D.C. Superior Court, she worked at U.S. Food and Drug Administration\u2019s Office of Chief Counsel for nearly eight years. At the Office of Chief Counsel, she first served as a litigator and then as a counselor to the Center for Drug Evaluation and Research, specializing in over-the-counter and generic drug issues. After working as a college admissions coach and essay advisor, she returned to Georgetown, first to the career center at Georgetown University\u2019s Walsh School of Foreign Service, and then full circle back to Georgetown Law\u2019 Office of Graduate Careers. She currently is in the process of completing her ACC coaching certification through The Academies. Ruth Ann also has a B.A. in American Studies from Yale University.
