{"id":7882,"date":"2018-01-11T17:53:36","date_gmt":"2018-01-11T21:53:36","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.law.georgetown.edu\/?page_id=41585"},"modified":"2026-03-02T18:29:03","modified_gmt":"2026-03-02T18:29:03","slug":"gw-georgetown-law-public-sector-recruitment-program-psrp","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.law.georgetown.edu\/your-life-career\/career-exploration-professional-development\/for-employers\/hire-jd-students-and-graduates\/public-sector-recruitment-programs\/gw-georgetown-law-public-sector-recruitment-program-psrp\/","title":{"rendered":"GW\/Georgetown Law Public Sector Recruitment Program (PSRP)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The Georgetown University Law Center and the George Washington University Law School invite you to participate in the Public Sector Recruiting Program (PSRP), an annual opportunity to recruit current law students for summer and entry-level employment opportunities.\u00a0 Over 200 DC area and nationwide government agencies, nonprofits and public interest law firms have participated in previous years.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>PSRP 2026 will be on Friday, January 23, 2026.<\/b><\/p>\n<h2><strong>2026 Timeline:<\/strong><\/h2>\n<h3>Three Ways to Participate<\/h3>\n<p><b>VIRTUAL INTERVIEWS:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> The virtual program will be held on Friday, January 23, 2026 from 9 AM to 4 PM EST. Employers should choose either the half-day (morning or afternoon) option or the full-day option. Two 10 minute breaks will be scheduled during each shift and all participating employers will have an hour built into their schedule for lunch. Please note\u2013we are happy to accommodate your schedule if these time blocks do not work for you.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Resumes and cover letters of interested students will be available in early January. <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Because employers that register for the interview option will receive application materials from all interested students, it is not necessary to register for both the interview option and the resume collect option.<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n<p><b>Registration for VIRTUAL INTERVIEWS will close on Wednesday, December 10 at 5 PM ET. <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Please note, because we will be using a virtual platform for PSRP 2026, <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">we may not be able to accommodate last-minute requests to join our program this year<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>VIRTUAL TABLE TALK:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> Speak informally with students via our virtual Table Talk on FRIDAY, January 23, 2026 from 1:00 \u2013 3:00 PM. If you wish to conduct interviews and participate in Table Talk, you will need to have one representative assigned to conduct afternoon interviews and one assigned to Table Talk as both programs will be conducted simultaneously.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>APPLICATION PROGRAM <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Can\u2019t conduct virtual interviews? Let us help you meet your hiring needs by collecting resumes (and cover letters) for you. You will receive student application materials on <\/span><b>Friday, January 9<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> and may then invite students to interview at your convenience.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Please keep in mind that we will be able to accommodate multiple attorneys from your organization for the Interview and Table Talk program.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><b>How to Register for the Virtual Interview, Virtual Table Talk, or Application Program Options:<\/b><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><a href=\"https:\/\/law-pifair-csm.symplicity.com\/employers\"><b>Login to Symplicity<\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> using the login and password supplied in your email invitation. Please contact Ruby Sheikh at <\/span><b>ris6@georgetown.edu<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> if you need to obtain a username and password or if you are experiencing any difficulty logging in.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">From the Home page, on the left side tab, select \u201cPublic Sector Recruiting Program\u201d, \u201cSchedule Request\u201d, then click the blue, \u201cRequest a Schedule\u201d button in the middle of the screen. Alternatively, from the Home page, you may select \u201cSubmit Schedule Request\u201d on the right side box under the \u201cShortcuts\u201d heading.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Within the \u201cSelect Program Option\u201d drop-down, please select \u201cPSRP 2026 \u2013 Interview Option\u201d, \u201cPSRP 2026 \u2013 Table Talk\u201d, or \u201cPSRP 2026 \u2013 Application Program\u201d. Please fill out the entire Schedule Request form completely. You will be contacted if there are any blank submissions.<\/span>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">A NOTE ON UNOFFICIAL TRANSCRIPTS: Our law students will not have their fall 2025 semester grades until the end of January, after the PSRP bidding deadline, and are therefore not able to submit transcripts as part of their application packet.<\/span><b> You may request additional materials from students directly following interviews<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">When your form is completed, click \u201cSubmit.\u201d<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">IMPORTANT NOTES:<\/span>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">You may interview <\/span><b>1L and 2L students for summer positions only<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">. 3L students must be interviewed for PAID entry-level positions only. Interviewing 3L students for summer positions or unpaid post-graduate positions is not permitted for this program.
