Support our Institution and Community
In this special year, we ask members of the Georgetown Law community to celebrate our 150th Anniversary by giving at the level that is comfortable for you.
Your assistance supports programs that strengthen academic excellence, inspire service, promote justice, and increase student access to the preeminent legal education we offer in the U.S. capital.
Honor your own history with Georgetown Law by supporting its future.
For the Next 150 Years
As we look to the future, we are not resting on our laurels. In honor of this milestone year, alumni and friends are pledging 150 gifts of $150,000 or greater.
Join in this campaign to support:
- Scholarships for students
- Our world-class faculty
- Global programming and resources for international students
- Our beautiful law campus
- Innovative and renowned Centers and Institutes
Make an outright gift, a pledge over several years, or plan a bequest, security transfer, or IRA disbursement. To discuss your 150th Anniversary gift, contact William Bailey at 202-662-9671 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
The 150-Hour Giving Challenge — Thank You!
To commemorate this milestone year, Georgetown Law held a special 150-Hour Giving Challenge, which ended on October 5 — the date of the Law Center’s 150th Anniversary.
Thomas H. Kennedy (L’81), former National Chair of the Law Annual Fund, generously offered to match all gifts during the Challenge with an equal gift to the Annual Fund, up to $150,000.
We are delighted that the Challenge was a success! Over 400 members of the Georgetown Law Family made a gift, raising over $400,000, including Mr. Kennedy’s matching gift — all in support of financial aid, clinics, journals, student groups, and more.
If you played a role in making this campaign a success, thank you! We are very grateful for you support.
While the Challenge may be over, it’s not too late to invest in Georgetown Law’s future. If you have not yet had the chance to honor Georgetown Law’s legacy this anniversary year, will you consider making a gift today?
