Edward L. Cohen is a Principal of Lerner Enterprises, a private real estate development and investment company in the greater Washington, DC area, and Executive Vice President, Secretary and Treasurer of Lerner Corporation, the leasing and management affiliate of Lerner Enterprises.

Ed is also a Principal Owner and Vice Chairman of the Washington Nationals Baseball Club. After graduating from the University of Pennsylvania, he earned a JD degree from Georgetown University Law Center.

Prior to being involved in baseball or real estate, he was a lawyer specializing in nuclear energy matters.

Some of the Boards on which he has served include: Junior Achievement of the Greater Washington Area; The Congressional Award; Georgetown University Law Center Board of Visitors; and The Duke Ellington School.
