Frequently Asked Questions:

Question: Will COVID-19 vaccination be required to attend Reunion Weekend?

Answer: In accordance with Georgetown University protocol, all attendees of Georgetown Law Reunion Weekend will be required to provide proof of vaccination to attend any Reunion Weekend event, whether it be on or off-campus. For those with a medical or religious exemption, a negative COVID test will be required within 72 hours of the event.

Question: How do I upload proof of COVID-19 vaccination?

Answer: After registering for Reunion Weekend, on both the registration confirmation page and in your confirmation email, you will see a button to click that reads “Upload Proof of Your COVID-19 Vaccination.” This button will lead you to a brief form where you can upload images of the front and back of your vaccination card.

Question: Is it possible to attend just one event?

Answer: It sure is! Registration and pricing for Reunion Weekend are a la carte.

Question: Do I have to register for the whole reunion if I am attending just one event?

Answer: Yes. We use the RSVPs through our registration website to determine numbers for catering, etc.

Question: Can I attend a reunion event, even if it is not my reunion year?

Answer: You can! The more, the merrier. The only events exclusive to Reunion Year alumni are the class parties on Friday night.

Question: I can no longer attend. Can I get a refund?

Answer: Yes, you can get a refund by unregistering yourself online or contacting the Office of Alumni Affairs.

Question: How does pricing work?

Answer: Registration and pricing are a la carte. You will only pay for the events you register for.

Question: How do I apply my Hope to Attend discount?

Answer: Please enter the code emailed to you on the payment page of registration. If you need to be resent the code, please email us.

Question: Can I pay onsite?

Answer: We will accept check, cash or Mastercard and Visa payments at registration.

Question: Can I sit with my friends at the Gala?

Answer: Please list the friends/classmates that you are interested in sitting with at the Gala during the online registration process. Each table seats 8 guests. We cannot guarantee that all seating requests will be granted, but we will do our best!

Question: What is the dress code for the Gala?

Answer: The Gala is black-tie optional. The split between floor-length gowns & above-the-knee dresses, as well as tuxes & suits, is about 50/50.

Question: What is the dress code for my class party?

Answer: There are no dress codes for class parties, but we suggest you dress to impress for a night out on the town!

Question: How do I alert staff of my dietary restrictions?

Answer: Please be sure to fill out the dietary restrictions questions during online registration. If you have additional concerns, please contact the Office of Alumni Affairs via email.

Question: Can I park on-campus?

Answer: Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate on-campus parking during Reunion Weekend. However, there are many paid parking lots surrounding the Law Center. Additionally, we are only a short walk from both Union Station and the Judiciary Square metro stop.

Question: Are tickets being mailed to us for the events we sign up for?

Answer: Nope! Your name will be on the registration list at each event you attend.
