Lauren Cherry's photoLauren M. Cherry is a Lieutenant Commander in the U.S. Navy’s Judge Advocate General’s Corps. She has served in various national security law assignments, to include Associate Deputy General Counsel for Intelligence at the Office of the Secretary of Defense, Staff Judge Advocate to Combined Joint Special Operations Task Force – Iraq, Staff Judge Advocate to Naval Special Warfare Center, and Legal Advisor to Combined Task Force (CTF) 150, CTF 151, and CTF 152. Cherry received a B.A. in Psychology from Washington University in St. Louis, a J.D. from Loyola University Chicago School of Law, an M.A. in Defense and Strategic Studies from the Naval War College, and an LL.M. in National Security Law from Georgetown University Law Center.
