The Georgetown Environmental Law Review (GELR) is recognized as a leading publication of scholarly commentary and practical analysis of domestic and international environmental law.  GELR is continuously looking for submissions for our print issues and our online publication, GELR Online. We are currently accepting submissions for our upcoming issues.

For print submissions, GELR accepts articles through both Scholastica.  Authors can also submit articles by email directly to GELR. When submitting through email, please send pieces to gelrsubmissions@gmail.com with your last name and title in the subject line.

For online submissions, please send pieces to gelrsubmissions@gmail.com with “GELR Online” and your last name in the subject line.

GELR is also committed to contributing to the next generation of legal scholars and developing Georgetown Law students’ scholarly writing on a variety of domestic and international environmental law topics. GELR typically publishes several student notes in each issue. Student notes can be submitted to gelrsubmissions@gmail.com

After we accept your submission, we ask authors to sign a standard publication license and agreement so that all parties understand the rights associated with the publication.
