I am looking forward to reconnecting with my classmates and fellow BLSA members!

I am looking forward to reconnecting with my classmates and fellow BLSA members! After graduation, I moved back home to Mobile, Alabama and began working at my county public defender’s office. After a few months, I got a job at a small firm handling federal, state, and municipal criminal cases. About two and a half years ago, I started my solo practice where I continued to handle federal, state, and municipal criminal cases. This year has been a big transition for me. I now represent small businesses in civil matters and have worked on two political campaigns this year. I will begin doing government relations work in Montgomery in February with the start of the 2027 state legislative session. My Street Law experience at Georgetown was the inspiration for my nonprofit Reaching the Bar that has been operating since 2021. Each fall, I visit two schools once a week and teach a law-related lesson or bring a guest speaker, culminating in an annual mock trial competition in December. Georgetown Law shaped who I am as a citizen and as a lawyer, and I can’t wait to see everyone who helped make my experience so positive. See you soon!

Greetings Fellow Hoya Lawyas - Since graduating in 2021, I continued working in DC government leadership in the areas of child welfare, education, workforce development and juvenile justice. In 2025, I moved back to my home state of Tennessee after over a decade living and working in DC. Now, I serve as an Executive Director with the Tennessee Department of Children's Services. I am blessed to be able to continue to do the public service work that brought me to GULC years after graduation. I look forward to reuniting with the class of 2021.
