Since graduation, I spent 4+ years in NYC working in M&A tax, but I moved last year to LA as my wife is pursuing her MBA at UCLA. I also recently transitioned to a new firm, still focused on transaction work but in the mid-market sector, and I've been enjoying that very much and life in SoCal!

I can't believe it has been 5 years since graduation!

I can't believe it has been 5 years since graduation! Since I graduated in May 2019 (on the hottest day in DC ever), I started my career in New York City as an International Tax Associate at PwC for two years before starting my current role in DC as an Employment, Compensation and Benefits Associate at White & Case. From a personal perspective, my wife and I have gotten engaged and married, moved from NYC to DC, welcomed to our family little Santiago in 2022, and we are waiting for another addition to the family later in September. Looking forward to the reunion weekend!

Hi Class of 2019! I can’t believe it has been five years since we graduated! I miss DC, GULC, and all the amazing people and friends I met during my three years there. It has been too long since I have been able to see many of you in person. I can’t wait to see you at Reunion Weekend and catch up soon!

The 5 years since we graduated law school have flown by - the pandemic really did change the way we perceive time passing!

The 5 years since we graduated law school have flown by - the pandemic really did change the way we perceive time passing! Since I saw many of you last in May 2019, I worked on the Hill for 4 years at the House Office of Legislative Counsel, focusing on defense, intelligence, and foreign affairs legislative drafting. Recently, I left the legislative branch for the executive and am now at the EPA, where I focus on issues relating to environmental compliance by the military and certain other federal agencies. I still love DC (despite the summers) and am so excited to see many of you back in town for our first GULC reunion!
