Summit on Emerging Technology Policy
Technology is reshaping every aspect of modern life, in many cases evolving more rapidly than law and policy.
The Summit on Emerging Technology Policy at Georgetown Law, hosted by the Institute for Technology Law & Policy, brings together academics, policymakers, practitioners, and students to discuss where we are, what comes next, and how to center accountability, inclusion, and justice in the creation of policies to address emerging technologies.
The first Summit on Emerging Technology Policy took place on September 27–28, 2023, and was presented in collaboration with Perkins Coie. This exciting two-day event opened with a fireside chat between Halimah Delaine Prado (L’00), General Counsel of Google, and Professor Kristin Henning of Georgetown Law. Panels the next day focused on space policy, data privacy, cybersecurity, AI, and the regulatory regulatory regime, among other topics. See the full agenda below.
