Brenda is an SJD candidate at Harvard Law as well as a postdoctoral fellow at Georgetown Law. She is also a visiting fellow at Yale’s Information Society Project and an affiliate at the Berkman Klein Center for Internet & Society. Her research focuses on social media governance, online speech, and sexual privacy. Chapters of her dissertation appear in the Harvard International Law Journal and the Villanova Law Review, and are forthcoming in the Washington Law Review.

Previously, Brenda was an advisor to the Solicitor General in Argentina. In that capacity, she oversaw the Solicitor General’s opinions on freedom of expression before the Supreme Court. She also worked with the Center for Democracy and Technology, the Global Freedom of Expression Initiative at Columbia University, and the Centro de Estudios en Tecnología y Sociedad.

She received her first law degree from Torcuato Di Tella University (Buenos Aires, Argentina), where she graduated first in her class. She also earned an LLM from Harvard Law School as a Fulbright Scholar.
