Gary Stockard

Class of 2025

Gary Stockard II is a Technology Law Scholar at Georgetown University Law Center. Originally from Ohio, he went to the University of Missouri for undergrad, receiving a BS in Biological Engineering. After working as a researcher at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, he enrolled at Columbia University in New York, where he received his MS in Biomedical Engineering. As a 1L Summer Associate, he worked for the firm Winston & Strawn in NYC on the IP Litigation team.

Gary works as the Vice President of the Student Intellectual Property Association, the Attorney General of the Black Law Student Association, and as a staff writer for the Georgetown Law Technology Review.

In his free time, he enjoys weightlifting, reading books on American Civil War history, and sports.
