Nicholas FoxClass of 2026

Nicholas Fox is from the South Side of Chicago, IL and a 2017 graduate of Butler University with a B.S in Risk Management/Insurance and Minor in Pre-Law. Prior to being accepted to the Georgetown University Law Center, he reached the rank of Vice President at Marsh & McLennan’s Cyber Center of Excellence, in his hometown. He has held multiple positions at Marsh, from consultant to broker, and serves as the CEO of his own streetwear brand, Gratitude Chicago, LLC. As a consultant he worked specifically in the Emerging Risks Practice and assisted clients in understanding/mitigating the effects of emerging risks stemming from cyber, geopolitical, climate, terrorism, etc. to their balance sheet. As a broker, he focused on advising clients on how to create more polished cyber security plans and with purchasing adequate cyber/technology errors and omission policies. He has a passion for problem solving and giving back to his community. His company, Gratitude Chicago, LLC, is a streetwear brand that prides itself on emphasizing the importance of showing gratitude in your everyday life. While he and his co-founders operate an e-commerce platform, and wholesale to Foot Locker, Inc. locations in six different states, they have more importantly started four different scholarships and helped fund one of the first STEM education centers on the South Side of Chicago, designed to give back to minority students from disenfranchised communities. In addition to these scholarships, Nick has teamed up with two of his fellow Butler classmates to start their own endowed scholarship in an attempt to increase the number of African American males who matriculate through the University. Nick has a passion for Intellectual Property and has successfully filed his own trademarks for both his own business and as the operations manager for his father’s business. His ultimate goal is to combine his passion for art, sports, and intellectual property and work for a large law firm specializing in issues in these areas.
