Class of 2025

Sarineh graduated cum laude from the University of California, Los Angeles with a B.A. in Philosophy and a minor in Global Studies. As an undergraduate, she spent a summer in Paris, France, where she studied the impact of marketization and democratization on post-colonial states. She was also published in the UCLA Undergraduate Law Journal; her article examined the influence of implicit biases on the adjudication of adolescent offenders.

After graduation, Sarineh worked for the Armenian National Committee of America, where she researched violations of human rights worldwide, calling attention to precursors that could lead countries toward committing atrocity crimes. She supplemented her research on genocide by volunteering as an English language tutor for victims of war in Armenia.

Prior to attending Georgetown Law, Sarineh worked as a litigation assistant at an employment law firm, representing plaintiffs in matters concerning discrimination, wrongful termination, and wage and hour violations. In her free time, she enjoys film photography, visiting museums, and cooking. Sarineh is eager to learn more about the intersection of art law and intellectual property rights at Georgetown.
