A Conversation with Professor Craig Hoffman and International Alumni

This live, virtual event celebrates Professor Craig Hoffman‘s many years of teaching in Georgetown’s LL.M. Program. It also celebrates the 10th anniversary of Georgetown Law’s two-year LL.M. Program. Professor Hoffman hosts a conversation with featured alumni from the Middle East, Europe, Asia, Latin America, and the United States. He will encourage his guests to share reflections on their time at Georgetown Law and to discuss experiences from their careers.

Craig Hoffman serves as Professor of United States Legal Discourse and Director of the Legal English Program at Georgetown University Law Center. He focuses on acculturating Georgetown’s foreign LL.M. students into United States Legal Discourse by teaching courses that introduce them to the ways that U.S. lawyers use language to communicate about the law. He has taught in Georgetown Law’s LL.M. program since 1995.
