Anya Satyawadi joined ABLE as Program Assistant in May of 2023. Anya assists with the operations of ABLE.

Prior to joining CICS, Anya was with the Brennan Center for Justice at NYU Law where she worked on issues relating to misdemeanor enforcement.

Anya received her B.A. from the University of Michigan with a double major in History and Program in the Environment. She wrote her undergraduate thesis on media and legislative responses to the War on Crime and the War on Drugs in Detroit with a focus on juvenile justice. In her free time, she likes to try new restaurants and watch crime documentaries.
