Brief Bio

Yehonatan Givati is a Professor at Hebrew University Law School. He is a member of Hebrew University’s Center for the Study of Rationality as well as its Center for Empirical Legal Studies.
Professor Givati’s scholarly interest lies in the area of economic analysis of law. His work is both theoretical and empirical, and he applies the tools of law and economics to the areas of tax law, law enforcement, and administrative law. His work was published in leading journals such as University of Chicago Law Reviews, Tax Law Review, Journal of Legal Studies, Journal of Law & Economic, Journal of Public Economics, and Journal of Empirical Legal Studies.
Professor Givati received a PhD from the Economics Department at Harvard University in 2013, and an SJD from Harvard Law School in 2011.
