Anitha is a 2021 UW-Madison graduate with majors in Mathematics, Political Science, and International Studies (Global Security), and certificates in African Studies and East Asian Studies. Her honors senior thesis on youth protests in Mali was awarded Best Thesis in Political Science and Best Paper in African Studies.

After graduation, Anitha completed two years as a Fulbright Scholar teaching at Hwasun High School in Jeollanam-do, South Korea. During her time with Fulbright, she organized two Jeollanam-do Youth Diplomacy and Activism Conferences and secured on behalf of her school one of only two Korean grants to participate in the Korea-Japan English camp. Additionally, she worked as a volunteer research assistant creating a foreign language research archive for the May 18 Memorial Foundation in Gwangju.

Anitha is a native French speaker, proficient in Korean and German, and conversational in Kannada. In her free time, she enjoys training Brazilian Jiu-jitsu, Judo, and Muay Thai, social dancing, and hiking.
