Alberto Garcia is a full-time student of the International Business and Economic Law LLM, where he focuses on Corporate and International Law. He maintains a strong interest in cross-border transactions and international trading policies.

 At Georgetown Law, Alberto is President of the Georgetown Law Spanish Association (GLSA) and is part of the team representing Georgetown in the American University Moot Court.

Alberto graduated first from his class in Spain with a Double Degree in Law and Business Management. During his Bachelor, he was granted honor scholarships to perform exchange programs in the United States and Germany, which contributed to the development of his studies, as well as acknowledging different legal and economic backgrounds. Alberto also completed his Masters in International Business Law and Access to Legal Practice with Merit from ESADE (Barcelona).

Prior to joining Georgetown Law, Alberto started his career serving as a law clerk in the Spanish Judicial Courts. After this first experience, he started working for a law firm specialized in Civil and Commercial Litigation. He also worked for an international law firm in the Corporate Department, assisting the team in Spanish and international clients’ cross-border M&A transactions. He is fluent in Spanish and English.
