Alexis Covington
Alexis Covington is a fellow of the Institute of International Economic Law and a first-year law student at the Georgetown University Law Center. She obtained her undergraduate degree in English and International Studies (with a specialization in Latin America) at the University of Alabama. She then proceeded to obtain her M.A. in Political Science with a specialization in International Relations.
At Georgetown Law she is a member of the Section 3 Curriculum and on the DEI committee for the Women’s Legal Alliance. She hopes to use her time as an IIEL fellow to research private sector and economic development in Latin America.
