Evan is a third year law student at Georgetown University Law Center. He received his bachelor’s degree in literature from Claremont McKenna College in 2016. At Claremont McKenna, Evan focused his studies on British literature, wrote his senior thesis on the novels of Evelyn Waugh, and was captain of the college’s track & field team.

Prior to law school, Evan worked in Los Angeles as a television agent. He represented directors and producers working on unscripted television programs. Evan is a dual citizen of Canada and the United States. He is interested in the role the laws and markets of the United States and Canada can play in fostering economic and social development in developing countries, emerging markets and nations in transition. He hopes to use his law degree to advocate for more equitable legal and economic systems that can help to alleviate poverty internationally. This summer Evan will be working as an associate at Perkins Coie in Seattle, Washington and is excited by the transnational opportunities offered by the firm.
