Saskia Seidel is pursuing her LL.M. degree at Georgetown Law in International Business and Economic Law. Having graduated from the University of Mannheim, she holds her first law degree from Germany as well as a Bachelor’s degree in Business Law. During that time, she took part in the Model WTO in Geneva, a simulation of WTO negotiations where she visited the WTO headquarters and which ignited her passion for all things International Economic Law.

After graduating, Saskia moved to Brussels to be a Trainee in the Directorate-General for Industry, Entrepreneurship and SMEs at the European Commission where she worked on Investment Conditions and Public Services. Alongside her studies, she has also worked for several law firms in International Tax as well as a major global corporation in Risk Management. She is interested in economic public policy and plans to work at an international organization post graduation.
