Professor Turk is Deputy Chief Counsel in the Division of Corporation Finance at the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission. In that role he regularly advises other members of the Division and the public on transactions including initial public offerings, mergers and acquisitions, shelf offerings, spin-offs, direct listings, SPACs, REIT formations and conversions, and proxy filings. Professor Turk is also a Certified Public Accountant.
