Peter Richman is a Senior Counsel in the office of Associate Chief Counsel (Corporate) at the Internal Revenue Service where he advises taxpayers and other government officials on a variety of corporate and international tax matters. Previously, Peter worked in the Transaction Tax practice of EY’s National Tax Department where he advised clients on internal restructurings, cross-border transactions, spinoffs, reorganizations, and consolidated return issues. Peter also works with Community Tax Aid to assist low-income taxpayers with the preparation of federal, state, and Washington, DC income tax returns. Peter received his B.A. from the University of Pennsylvania, his J.D. from Temple University, and his LL.M. in taxation from the University of Florida.
