Stephanie is an attorney in the Enforcement Division of the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau in Washington, D.C., where she investigates potential violations of and enforces federal consumer financial protection laws. Prior to joining the Bureau, Stephanie litigated business and employment disputes as an associate at McGinnis Lochridge in Austin, Texas. In that role, she contributed to dozens of complex motions and briefs, including several appellate briefs. Stephanie also served for two years as a judicial clerk with United States District Judge Alia Moses in the Western District of Texas. Stephanie received her J.D. from Columbia Law School, and her B.A. from the University of Texas at Austin in Philosophy and Government.
