Roscoe began his work with CICS as a Community Research Ambassador in May of 2024. He brings his expertise to the Oral Histories project alongside CICS Research Team where he helps in recruiting and interviewing survivors of gun violence. Roscoe is a 2024 graduate of the DC Peace Academy. The DC Peace Academy focuses on using evidence-based research to bring together and provide resources to peacemakers and grassroots organizers. They focus their efforts in violence intervention in the DC area. Roscoe bridges the gap between communities and social justice researchers. He seeks to find solutions for a more fair world and a more equitable future!
