The ABLE Team is excited to announce the 2026 ABLE Continuous Learning Module: “Case Study Training Series” which is now available in the Instructor Portal!

The instructions for implementing the 2026 CLM Case Study Training Series are located in the Implementation and Facilitator Guide. You can also access the guide and the six case study training videos directly via these links (the materials are identical, so feel free to download them from whichever site is easier for you):

As a reminder, beginning in January 2026, the ABLE Standards will require agencies to transition from the ABLE Refresher Training to the ABLE Continuous Learning Modules (CLMs) starting the year after all commissioned personnel finish the 8-hour core curriculum. CLMs are reinforcement trainings designed to strengthen and refresh ABLE core principles through engaging formats such as scenarios, case studies, videos, or a standard two-hour refresher. Agencies may incorporate CLMs into roll call or in-service training, providing personnel with flexible, ongoing opportunities to reinforce active bystandership and key core curriculum concepts. For additional guidance on implementing this year’s CLM, please review the information in the accompanying Implementation and Facilitator guide.

The Continuous Learning Modules are designed to be taught through live instruction. Class size is flexible, although the preferred size is no more than 25-30 students. As a reminder, instructors do not need to be re-certified to teach the CLMs; any instructor that has successfully completed the ABLE Train-the-Trainer may teach the CLM training. If there are any questions on any of the material, please do not hesitate to reach out to the ABLE team for guidance or assistance.

Before transitioning to the CLM training, agencies must have first completed all four existing refresher trainings. The refresher trainings can be found in the Instructor Portal(This link opens in a new tab): with the option to begin in any order from “Focus on Health and Wellness,” “Focus on Early Interventions,” “An Update on the Science” or, “A Deep Dive on Decide.”
